Heathfield & District Bonfire Society (HDBS) was reformed in 2018 by a group of local bonfire enthusiasts who wanted to enhance the sense of community in their town by holding the traditional celebration of bonfire and torchlight procession in Heathfield and have Heathfield join in the annual season of events with other societies around Sussex. HDBS are a non-profit organisation so any surplus money made will go back into our community to help local charities, groups and causes.
Our aim is to represent Heathfield & District at other societies bonfire events and to also put on our own bonfire night here in Heathfield.
This year Heathfield & District Bonfire Society will hold their 2024 Heathfield Bonfire Night on Saturday 12th October! Taking to the streets with our spectacular torchlit procession, bringing together our town and local community along with our bonfire friends and family for a night of celebration.
