Cheese & Wine Community showcase Evening – Thurs. 25th Nov. at The Union Church, Heathfield

Are you looking for clubs to join, people to meet or fun activities to get involved with in the Heathfield area? Come and join us at The Union Church, Station Road, Heathfield on Thursday 25th November, 6 – 8pm, for a Cheese & Wine Community showcase Evening organised by the Union Church & local Co-op.

An opportunity to meet new people and find out what activities are happening in our awesome town. Come down for some Cheese, Wine and a mingle!
Guests include us (Heathfield District Bonfire Society), Heathfield Men’s Shed, Brighter Heathfield, Heathfield & Waldron Responders, Wealden Works, Cake And Wine Club, and many more.

Heathfield Martyrs Commemoration – 22nd June 2021

We held our Heathfield Martyrs Commemoration yesterday, Tuesday 22nd June, in remembrance of Heathfield’s two Martyrs, Margery and her son James Morris, on the 464th anniversary of their deaths. This year we were unfortunately unable to open this event to the public due to Covid restrictions limiting numbers. Thanks goes to all those members that were able to attend, to the trustees and agents of the Independent Chapel for allowing us to hold our wreath laying at the Martyrs Memorial, to The Flower Workshop on Station Road for the beautiful floral wreath and to Ken & Jane at our HQ The Half Moon Inn for the refreshments after our walk back from the chapel along Cade Street. A lovely evening and long awaited catch up for some of our members.

Calling all beer lovers… for a Virtual Beer Tasting Evening on Saturday 1st May, 8pm. Open to all!!

Hear the story of Three Acre Brewery – where we met, how things have changed through lockdown, and what we do today. We’ll stop off along the way and give you the chance to taste each of our beers. Our Head Brewer will tell you more about the inspiration and thinking behind each brew.
