From the first march back in September in Crowborough when we didn’t know what to expect, to being invited to march at Lewes. We’ve come a long way in our inaugural year.
HDBS would like say a massive thank you to our local businesses that have supported us this year. We are so grateful, however big or small your contribution has been, you have been amazing, thank you. Thank you to every single member of our society that started off as strangers yet after one bonfire season we would call each other friends! And thank you to BONCO and across the bonfire community that have helped us find our feet, we really appreciate it and can’t wait for the coming year. 2019 is going to be massive for HDBS!

HDBS held their first Badge Night back at the beginning of September where members were briefed on the upcoming bonfire events they would be attending and the distribution of members badges marked the start of the bonfire season.

HDBS had a fun and successful day at Le Marché putting on a tombola stall. We’d like to thank everyone who came to our stall, had a go on the tombola and gave us words of encouragement and support for the Society.
