HDBS – Winners of the Sussex Champions Cup 2022!

We are so proud of our society and how far it has come since forming in 2018.

Being awarded Winners of the Sussex Champions cup has been an amazing end to this year’s bonfire season. It is made even more special by the fact that this cup has been going since 1972 meaning Heathfield have now been engraved into this cup in it’s 50th year!

Thank you to all at the Sussex Association of Bonfire & Carnival Societies for this huge honour.

Heathfield’s Remembrance Sunday Service

Today we took part in the Remembrance Sunday Service at All Saints Church in Old Heathfield followed by a procession to the War Memorial where our member Jim Rutter laid a wreath on behalf of Heathfield & District Bonfire Society. Thank you to Reverend Mitch of Heathfield Benefice and The Royal British Legion for arranging today and allowing us to join you.

Heathfield Bonfire Night – Saturday 22nd October – Programmes on sale now £1

Programmes are available from the following shops: Albion Bakers (Cross-in-hand), Heathfield Ironmongers, Farrago, Balcombes, Truffles (Heathfield), The Brewers Arms (Vines Cross) and All Dressed Up (Horam). Advance firesite tickets are now sold out! No entry to the firesite without one as it is restricted numbers for safety reasons.

Don’t forget our Heathfield Smugglers will also be hanging around town outside Trading 4 U and Heathfield Ironmongers this Saturday 22nd between 9am – 1pm, eager to shift some goods to you.

Bonfire Bingo Night – Sat 6th August

Eyes down, dabbers out! Get ready for our Bonfire Bingo Night! All are welcome, members & non-members near & far, the more the merrier.

Saturday 6th August @ Cross In Hand Village Hall. Doors open 6.30pm, Bingo starts at 7pm.

Pre book your bingo books now by emailing us at hdbs.events@gmail.com.

£12.50 per person will get you entry, your own bingo book and dinner (loaded jacket potatoes).

There’ll also be bingo dabbers available to buy, a bar, a raffle and a few other games along the way. So come on down and join in the fun, you never know your luck.
