We are so proud of our society and how far it has come since forming in 2018.
Being awarded Winners of the Sussex Champions cup has been an amazing end to this year’s bonfire season. It is made even more special by the fact that this cup has been going since 1972 meaning Heathfield have now been engraved into this cup in it’s 50th year!
Thank you to all at the Sussex Association of Bonfire & Carnival Societies for this huge honour.
A massive round of applause goes to all our members who put in so much time, thought and creativity into their costumes this year, you stepped it up and winning this cup is all down to your efforts.
For those that may be unaware of our pioneers costume, it is Day of the Dead. A big part of Sussex Bonfire is remembrance so our costume is a celebratory and colourful way to honour and remember our Heathfield Martyrs and those we commemorate each season.
