To mark the start of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, beacons across the United Kingdom and Commonwealth will be lit at 9.45pm on Thursday 2nd June 2022. We are very excited to announce that we are working closely with Heathfield & Waldron Parish Council & 1st Heathfield Scouts to help mark this occasion with Heathfield’s Lighting of the Beacon.
Thursday 2nd June, 9-10pm at Cade Street Recreation Ground, Old Heathfield. On Saturday 4th June Heathfield & Waldron Parish Council are also organising a big street party for the town in Station Road and Station Approach and starting the day with a parade from Tower Rec at 10am.
HDBS will be joining the procession and will have a stall at the street party so please come join in the celebrations and come say hi. Enjoy everyone!
